Currently I am leveraging molecular and synthetic biology to discover biosynthetic gene cluster derived molecules from bacteria. Before joining the Eustaquio lab, I worked at Hexagon Bio where I isolated antifungal and antineoplastic secondary metabolites derived by wild type fungal strains and heterologous expressed biosynthetic gene clusters.
Fun facts: I enjoy outdoor activities like biking, fly fishing and skiing.
